Our role models!

To us Sisters , Mary, mother of Jesus, is especially important. She put herself completely in God's service:

„Look, I am the Lord's servant“

Her advice,“do what He tells you“ is for us.

We follow the example of  St. Dominicus who was born in Caleruega in Spain in 1170 and died in Bologna in 12 21 at the age of 50.

He founded the Order of  the Preaching Brothers in1217; before he had founded a cloister for women in Prouille in France. He was moved by the need and ignorance of faith of people of his times.

He wanted to tell them his own joyous experience that God loves men and stands by them.

In this St. Dominicus showed deep respect and love for everybody and friendliness while proclaiming the truth.

St. Catherine of Siena, born in 1347, died on 29 April 1380, was in her time a faithful disciple of  St. Dominicus and she is our role-model too. She lived in the world as a Dominican Sister.

In prayer she experienced a deep communion with Christ. This made her capable bravely to accomplish missions for the church and the world.

She was sent  and strengthened for these missions by Christ himself.

„Go forward, I am with you in the cell of your heart.“
